This role is for an operational leader who loves bringing order to complexity.

As the ITAD Operations Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our processing operation. You’ll take ownership of how work gets done on the floor - building clear processes, organizing the workspace, developing people, and ensuring assets move through our facility efficiently, safely, and consistently.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will spend most of your time on the production floor coaching technicians, improving workflows, and reinforcing standards, not managing from behind a desk.
 


What You’ll Be Responsible For

Build & Manage Processes That Work

  • Develop, document, and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for receiving, sorting, testing, data sanitization, and disposition.
  • Create clear process documentation (flowcharts, checklists, work instructions) so work is done the same way every time.
  • Lead process changes end-to-end, training the team, updating documentation, and ensuring new workflows stick.
  • Continuously improve how work flows to increase throughput, reduce errors, and support growth.
  • Partner with Sales and Resale teams to understand how market changes affect processing priorities and value recovery.

Create an Organized, 5S-Driven Operation

  • Own 5S implementation across the facility (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
  • Eliminate clutter and create a clean, safe, professional workspace.
  • Establish labeled homes for tools, pallets, inventory, and workstations.
  • Use visual management tools (floor markings, signage, color-coded bins, shadow boards) to reduce waste and errors.
  • Ensure physical inventory matches system records through organization, audits, and cycle counts.
  • Build routines that sustain standards, not one-time cleanups.


Lead, Coach & Develop the Team

  • Lead and develop a team of 6–8 processing technicians, spending the majority of your time on the floor.
  • Coach technicians side-by-side, modeling expectations for quality, pace, and safety.
  • Build structured onboarding, training, and cross-training programs.
  • Maintain a skills matrix to identify gaps and ensure coverage across all functions.
  • Hire, onboard, and conduct performance reviews with clarity and fairness.
  • Foster a culture of High Standards, Low Ego, where people are encouraged to improve while executing with discipline.


Champion Safety, Compliance & Integrity

  • Create a culture where safety, physical and psychological, comes first.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, NIST, DoD, environmental, and customer security requirements.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for processing and data sanitization.
  • Protect Securis’ reputation by enforcing accountability and proper chain-of-custody at all times.


Use Metrics to Drive Better Decisions

  • Track key metrics such as throughput, cycle time, labor efficiency, and value recovery.
  • Turn data into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Resale, Logistics, and Leadership to align operations with company growth goals.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Background

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in a production, warehousing, logistics, technical repair, or ITAD environment.
  • Proven experience building and managing operational processes, including SOPs and training.
  • A track record of developing frontline teams through coaching and hands-on leadership.
  • Hands-on experience applying 5S, Lean, or similar organizational methods.
  • Familiarity with IT hardware (laptops, desktops, servers) strongly preferred; ITAD experience is a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
