Position Summary:

The General Manager of IT Asset Disposition will have full responsibility for revenue growth, operational performance, and cross-functional team leadership. This role oversees four core areas:  IT Asset Disposition Operations, Sales, Equipment Buying, and IT Asset Disposition Support, managing the full lifecycle of electronic asset management from intake to resale and customer service. The GM of IT Asset Disposition will drive strategic initiatives, optimize workflows, and align teams across e-commerce, wholesale, procurement, production, and inventory management. Success in this role requires strong, hands-on leadership to inspire accountability, foster collaboration, and ensure all groups are working toward shared goals in efficiency, profitability, and high-quality service delivery.

What You Will Do:

• Provide vision, leadership, and accountability across all IT Asset Disposition business units, including Operations, Sales, Equipment Buying, and Support.
• Define and execute strategies that drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and operational scalability.
• Foster a high-performance culture centered on ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the full IT Asset Disposition value chain—from intake and processing to inventory, refurbishment, resale, and logistics.
• Ensure operational excellence through workload optimization, production targets, and cross-functional alignment.
• Uphold compliance with internal controls, industry certifications (e.g., R2v3, NAID), and data security protocols.
• Own the go-to-market strategy for resale across e-commerce, wholesale, and scrap channels.
• Guide pricing strategy, inventory velocity, and product positioning to maximize profitability.
• Partner with customer-facing teams to support sales enablement, account retention, and service satisfaction.
• Lead sourcing initiatives and vendor management to secure high-quality, cost-effective inventory.
• Oversee deal evaluation and purchasing strategy to ensure alignment with volume, margin, and market trends.
• Standardize processes and reporting frameworks across all IT Asset Disposition functions.
• Leverage data and KPIs to monitor business health, identify improvement opportunities, and drive performance across teams.
• Champion innovation and systems thinking to streamline operations and unlock enterprise value.

What We Are Looking For:

Required:

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in either IT Asset Disposition, electronics recycling, or related industries.
• Proven success in managing P&L responsibilities and achieving revenue and profit targets.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across sales, operations, purchasing assets in the secondary market, and support.
• Strong organizational and strategic thinking skills with a bias toward execution.
• Familiarity with resale channels including wholesale and e-commerce platforms (eBay, Amazon, etc.).
• Working knowledge of IT hardware, inventory management systems, and chain-of-custody protocols.

• Experience in equipment sourcing or resale of laptops, servers, and network gear.
• Knowledge of industry standards (R2v3, e-Stewards, NAID AAA, ISO).
• Proficiency with operational improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA a plus).
