Location: Chantilly, VA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Range: $20–$22 per hour, Depending on Experience (DOE)
Employment Type: Hired by Enigma, subcontracted to Securis
Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizen

Position Summary:

Securis, in partnership with Enigma, is seeking a Disassembly Service Technician to support secure electronics recycling and data destruction services.  This position is a key part of Securis’ Service and Disassembly teams, providing hands-on work in secure material handling, electronic disassembly, and hard drive shredding. This full-time role is based out of our Chantilly warehouse, where you will work on-site disassembling electronic equipment and preparing materials for resale or recycling. 

What You’ll Do:

• Manually disassemble electronic equipment, sort and organize components for recycling or resale
• Operate destruction equipment including hard drive shredders, balers, and tape degaussers
• Log inventory using electronic scanning equipment and Securis' proprietary inventory system
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations and warehouse areas
• Support general warehouse functions including deliveries, shipping, inventory management, and material handling
• Attend and actively participate in weekly operations meetings
• Load/unload trucks at the warehouse
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment (scanners, pallet jacks, hand tools, balers, etc.
• Follow physical security protocols and ensure strict chain-of-custody procedures
• Identify and report equipment issues to ensure all tools are maintained in working condition

• Metal Destruction Machines (e.g., balers, shredders)
• Hand Tools
• Bulb Eater Machine
• Industrial Scales

What We’re Looking For:

Required:

• U.S. citizenship
• High school diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of related warehouse, logistics, or disassembly experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Basic computer skills (G Suite, Inventory Systems)

Preferred:

• Experience operating balers, shredders, or other industrial equipment
• Familiarity with IT hardware and software
• Experience using Salesforce or other inventory/service platforms
• Forklift certification
